Stepping into the limelight as hosts are brothers Ryan and Adam Thomas, familiar faces from Coronation Street and Emmerdale, embarking on their debut as presenters in prime-time TV.
Set to offer a thrilling challenge, 99 To Beat pits a hundred contestants against each other in a string of demanding games, all vying for a substantial jackpot of £25,000. The intense competition sees the participants whittled down one by one after each round until only a sole victor remains the ultimate conqueror of the 99.
The format has already proven its worth with international audiences across a multitude of countries including the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Vietnam, France, and Italy, and it's now set to capture hearts in the UK.

Adam and Ryan shared their excitement during the show's announcement, saying: "It's new, it's fresh, it's fun and we can't wait for people to see it!" They said: "It really is the ultimate family show, and so we couldn't be more excited to be hosting it together, as a family, we're thrilled to be helming it together as siblings.
"It's a dream come true for us. We can already imagine people at home playing these games with their families as it's fun/silly/competitive and heartfelt."
In a report emerging just before tonight's episode airs, it was disclosed that a contestant had to be taken to hospital after a "freak accident" occurred on the set.
Dancing on Ice 2024 champion Ryan spoke to OK! magazine about an unfortunate mishap, revealing: "One girl twisted her ankle just while celebrating. It was so unfortunate because it took her out of the competition, and she must have been devastated."
He continued, saying: "But freak accidents happen in life, and it is such a shame the show must go on."

Ryan also reflected on the inclusive nature of the programme, adding: "The beauty of this game is that anyone can play it whether you're an 18-year-old guy or an 80-year-old woman."
The anticipation for the show among fans has reached fever pitch, with one excited viewer commenting on Instagram: "I've been waiting ages for this to be released and I'm so buzzed."
