Reviews Deals

For many, Labor Day brings feelings of summer nostalgia and fall excitement. As a deals editor, I'm always thinking about what sales are cropping up for the season. The Home Depot is a contender that participates every year, with major drops on home essentials and upgrades that shoppers can't miss. That's why I've gathered the best deals from Home Depot's Labor Day sale below.
While you may be thinking of lumber and tools, the store's best deals so far feature grills, appliances, and seasonal decor. These big-ticket items are especially good to buy during an occasion like the long holiday, since even a small percentage discount can save you over $100.
Not all Labor Day deals are worth your time, though; in the hours of internet scouring I've done this week, I've come across some real duds. That said, there are definitely gems among them, like 25% off a 15-foot animated scarecrow ahead of Halloween or $150 off a Whynter portable AC unit we recommend.
Keep scrolling to find more of the best Home Depot Labor Day deals that are actually worth your time. If you're interested in seeing what the rest of the internet has to offer, check out our roundup of the best Labor Day sales going on now to shop discounts on home, kitchen, clothing, and tech.

Is Home Depot offering Labor Day deals in-store?
If you prefer to shop in person, Home Depot's Labor Day sale extends to its brick-and-mortar stores. That said, stock will be limited depending on your closest location, so some items may not be available even though they're listed as discounted online. I recommend checking ahead of time to ensure that your local Home Depot has what you're looking for to avoid wasting time.
Is Home Depot shipping free?
Home Depot's shipping policy gives shoppers free delivery on purchases over $35. Since most of the store's Labor Day sale items are well over that price, you won't have to worry about reaching that order minimum.
If you do happen to find the one product that won't ship free, you can always opt for in-store pickup if available.
When does Home Depot's Labor Day sale end?
Though it's not clearly advertised on its website, Home Depot's Labor Day sale likely ends the day after the holiday, September 2. Since we're far from then, you definitely have time to mull over your purchases — but be prepared to complete checkout by September 1, or risk losing your deal pricing.
